Production Technician (Inspection)
Production Technician (Inspection). Circa £30,000. Rochester. Flexible Working. My client, a global defence company based in Rochester, are looking for a Production Technician (Inspection) with experience of inspection using a variety of tools within an Electronics Engineering environment, to join an exciting and expanding team. As a Production Technician (Inspection) with experience of inspection using a variety of tools within an Electronics Engineering environment, you will be part of an integrated manufacturing/repair team inspecting and possibly building, wiring and assembling complex electronic assembly's or sub assembly's in accordance with manufacturing build instructions, , ensuring build standard and quality are met. This is an exciting position that will provide you with a challenging role whilst allowing you to develop your skills, learning from the experienced engineers around you.
As a Production Technician (Inspection), you will:
* Inspecting Electronic sub-assemblies and final assemblies, ensuring product conformity to specifications, drawings and other standards
* Undertaking build or simple test where trained and requested to do so
* Working strictly to our MES electronic work instructions and to IPC standards, to achieve the quality required
* Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained to keep areas FOD free
* Maintaining accurate written and electronic records
* Using our IT tools within a Windows environment
This role would suit someone who is passionate about Engineering particularly with an electronic bias. Someone who likes to get hands on with tools and building state-of-the-art technology.
Your skills and qualifications
Required:
* Experience of inspection using a variety of tools within an Electronics Engineering environment
* Experience with the defence, aerospace or electronics industry
* Solid IT skills
* Holding ICP certifications would be advantageous
As a Production Technician (Inspection) with experience of inspection using a variety of tools within an Electronics Engineering environment, you will earn a starting salary of Circa £30,000 and will be entitled to a range of excellent benefits, as well as huge career growth and training opportunities.
