Management/Cost Accountant
Ashford, Kent
£45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
A successful production company is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team in Ashford, Kent. The role will involve reviewing and analysing the cost of production throughout the manufacturing process and supply chain.
The ideal candidate will work closely with production and operations management to review and challenge all cost elements. The role will also involve costing and pricing new products and protecting margins.
Key responsibilities include;
- Reviewing production processes
- Analysing operational data
- Conducting daily/weekly variance reviews with operations and analysis
- Costing new products
- Supporting the implementation of robust WMS/stock controls
- Assisting with any other project work as required by operations and finance
The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food, and in a product costing, warehousing, and supply chain environment. They will ideally be qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, and excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines are also required.
