Role: Quality Support Administrator

Location: Tonbridge, Kent - Office based

Our client, a rapidly expanding manufacturer with an excellent reputation for high quality goods, is currently recruiting for a Quality Support Administrator to join their team on a permanent position.

As the Quality Support Administrator, you will be assisting the Quality Assurance Manager and other members of the team in the day to day quality administration activities which are essential to the smooth running of the Quality Management System. This role is primarily office based with a strong focus on office related administrative duties.

There is a great deal of admin and computer based entering and retrieval and a good eye for detail is important for checking batch information and packaging components including cartons, leaflets etc and ensuring these match customer orders.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality Manager with scanning, filing, collating and controlling documentation relating to product release activities.
- Maintain a document control system with input and guidance from the department manager.
- Responsible for all of the typing and formatting of the Quality Management System procedures, forms, instructions, reports, etc, (as drafted by the Quality Manager).
- Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems to assist the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams.
- Scanning and archiving of records requiring retention. These documents would include batch history files, test results, quality agreements, etc.
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in the creation and distribution of quality agreements, distributor agreements, supplier agreements, etc.
- The filing and collation of batch documents to support the QC teams.
- Typing up of meeting minutes, e.g. complaints meetings or regular quality meetings.
- Support the packing team with quality inspections (e.g. verifying lot numbers are correct,
labels applied uniformly, etc.)
- The application of 'Approved' labels (or approved stamping) to indicate the approval status of raw materials, components, intermediate products, etc.
- Inputting of data on MS SharePoint and the quality management software system.
- Assisting with documentation for complaint investigations and liaising with customers.
- Assisting with onsite audits as required (retrieving documents, etc.).

The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience of working within a production/manufacturing environment with a quality focus is desirable.
- Basic level of GPL would be desirable but not essential
- Good IT Skills with experience using all aspects of MS Office
- Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Educated to GCSE Level or Equivalent
- Methodical, Accurate Approach, with Good Attention to Detail
- Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Ability to Work as Part of a Team, or Independently as Required
