Role: Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical Bias)
Location: Rainham, Essex
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Competitive Benefits

KHR has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join a global market leader for products and services within the Engineering sector.

As the Maintenance Fitter, you will be required to inspect, dismantle, repair, and overhaul various different kits whilst ensuring they are fitted to both the company guidelines and health and safety policies.

This role would suit someone who has previous mechanical and electrical engineering exposure working within a large high-pressure environment.

Job Description:
- Excellent fault-finding ability and root cause analysis are a must.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Providing on-site mentoring to apprentices, providing support where needed.

The ideal candidate:
- A good pneumatics and mechanical engineering understanding is essential.
- Excellent fault finding and root cause analysis are essential for this position.
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be desirable but not essential
- Experience with hydraulics accompanied by basic electrical knowledge is a distinct advantage.
- Experience with siemens kits is desirable but not essential
- Experience training and mentoring other staff members is essential
