Fuse Rail Ltd is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team. Working from our new offices in rural Lyminge, you will;

• Develop a robust and appropriate cost and value management process
• Identify and evaluate recovery options alongside the Finance Director
• Manage and enhance project cost reporting systems with capacity to interrogate data and trends.
• Complete period applications
• Provide expertise and guidance to project staff, senior management team and Directors.
• Chair weekly project tracker meetings.
• Ensure optimum commercial return is achieved for all projects.
• Prepare monthly applications and supporting documentation ensuring submittal to clients within their individual deadlines to aid prompt receipt of payment certificates.
• Generate timely, accurate valuations, reconciliations, cost forecasts and cash flows. Recording performance.

Education, training and experience requirements:

Essential:
• Educated to A level standard or equivalent
• Strong commercial acumen

Desirable:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Member of RICS
