EYFS/Year 1 Teacher - Belvedere
Main Pay scale up to M6 – Full-time – Feb 2023 start

Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a Primary teacher looking to take on the responsibility of an EYFS/Year 1 class after February half-term. This is a full-time role but there could be flexibility to offer a candidate 0.8.

The School

This is a small village school, on the outskirts of Maidstone central. They are part of an academy trust that has 5 other schools as part of it and there are TAs in every classroom.

The pupils are supported by a dedicated team of staff, governors and parents who work together to provide a community environment which promotes key values of:

• Curiosity
• Honesty

They will nurture curiosity and creativity through an inspiring, broad and engaging curriculum, where learning is at the heart of all that they do. Everyone is challenged and encouraged to thrive and achieve as individuals, preparing them for their role as caring citizens in modern Britain.

The school is situated in Belvedere, close to the train station and easily accessible via bus. The school also has on site parking. The school is also graded GOOD by OFSTED.

The Role
• Teaching the Primary UK Year 1 curriculum
• Planning and Marking responsibilities
• Attending staff meetings, parent’s evenings and inset days


The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have previous experience teaching UK Primary curriculum,
• Experience teaching KS1 is welcome
• Previous experience with subject responsibility is highly desirable but not essential
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
