EAL 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (Turkish) – Dartford
£75-£85 a day – Full-time – Immediate Start


Supply Desk is working with a mainstream comprehensive secondary school in Dartford, recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a student with English as an Additional Language (EAL). This role is an ongoing contract and would be on a full-time basis.

The Role
• Working 1:1 with a child with EAL
• Assisting with translation and literacy, as well as playing an active role in coaching the student to learn to speak English
• Collaborating with the Class Teacher and SENCO in providing support for the student concerned

The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience working with children with EAL would be highly desirable
• Fluency in Turkish, or a very good understanding of Turkish would be highly desirable
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
