The Telesales department is a key in contributing to our sales as we continue to grow and expand! Reporting to the Telesales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales ordering processing and providing exceptional service to our customers. It is a fast-paced role, working independently and collaboratively as a team!

You’ll be working 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 days - some weekend availability is required. The shift pattern is advertised as 4PM-12AM, however there is some flexibility within this. After successful completion of the probation period, there will be the opportunity to discuss hybrid working.

Currently based across 3 sites in Tonbridge, we’ve outgrown all three of our warehouses so we will be moving to a newly built site in Dartford come Spring 2023. If successful you will be required to work initially in Tonbridge and move to Dartford with us when the time comes.

The sales team are the first point of contact for our customers via telephone and email. You will be answering calls from our customers enquiring about new products, chasing their deliveries for that day, or reporting any issues.

This role is essential to the smooth running of the business and ensures our customers get their deliveries as well as the best possible service! Some of your responsibilities will include:

Answering calls from customers dealing with customer queries
Taking orders over the phone and via email, inputting to the ordering system
Multi-tasking and prioritising workloads efficiently
Developing knowledge on product details and specifications
Liaising with our drivers, transport & warehouse team for delivery information

Role requirements

Computer literate – including good knowledge of Excel
Ability to manage workload, under pressure
Maintain focus and attention to detail
Experience working in customer service
Passionate about food/knowledge of food industry
Strong problem-solving skills, and capability to work independently
