Internal Sales Manager

North Kent

Full time / Permanent

£35-50k DOE + OTE £45-70k

We are looking for a bright, ambitious, and motivated Sales Manager who leads a team by example to join a successful market leader on a full-time permanent basis.

The purpose of this Sales Manager role is to lead, inspire and grow a team of Internal Sales Executives to develop existing and new business, with a focus on coaching, training and development as well as performance management.

Duties will include:

* Day to day management of the Internal Sales team
* Motivating and leading by example, offering hands on support where necessary
* Training, supporting, coaching
* Performance management
* Growing the team through talent acquisition; working with agencies as well as direct advertising
* Effective onboarding and training of new starters
* Continually improving processes
* To support and assist with reporting, including the review of KPI reports
* Creating company presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Liaising with customers and suppliers
* Any other duties required

The successful Sales Manager will have:

* Proven experience managing and growing an internal sales team
* A charismatic personality: this role suits a natural leader!
* The ability to pick up technical information
* Good management skills, with a firm but fair approach
* A 'lead by example' ethos'
* A good attention to detail
* Great communication skills with a good grasp of the English language - written and spoken
* Good IT skills, with strong Excel and the ability to analyse and report on KPIs and other data
* The confidence to bring ideas to the table to improve performance
* A collaborative approach with a good sense of humour!
