1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Pearson Whiffin Education are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join this Folkestone based primary school.

To apply for this role, you must posses a Level 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs and demonstrate a passion for supporting children's development.

The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with an EYFS student with development delays. The role is full time, starting immediately and running until the end of the academic year.

This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing support for the child
* Monitoring and supervising activities both in and out of the classroom
* Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
* Alert staff of any emergencies that may occur
* Assist the class teacher where needed
