Job Title: Office Manager
Salary: up to £38,000
Location: London
Our client, a well-respected Financial Services organisation, have a rare opening for a confident and organised Office Manager to join their team in London.
Duties include:
* Providing professional and efficient Reception and Front of House services, managing personnel to ensure effective cover, including out of hours.
* Line management of direct reports including recruitment, sickness, and performance management.
* Maintaining, reviewing, and updating departmental processes and procedures.
* Oversight and review of robust physical security procedures, covering manned guarding, access control and CCTV.
* Arranging meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, coordinating meeting rooms, and arranging catering and IT support as required.
* Building and maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and cleaning providers, maintaining cleanliness, appropriate stocks of stationery, and timely postage/ courier services.
* Ensuring Health and Safety, compliance, Data Protection, and Risk Management requirements are met, and providing support to employees and contractors around Health and Safety, including but not limited to display screen assessments, risk assessments, and fire action plans.
* Acting as first point of call for all planned building maintenance, facilitating access as needed, and understanding building management systems such as air conditioning, fire alarms, electricity, and water supplies.
* Providing cover and support to other office locations as required.
The successful candidate will have:
* Solid experience in a similar Office or Facilities Management role, to include Fire Marshal or First Aid Management responsibility.
* Demonstrable experience advising on DSE and Risk assessments.
* Good standards of IT literacy, particularly MS Office and electronic calendars.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of health and safety within an office environment and Building statutory compliance.
* Good leadership, conflict resolution and time management skills.
* IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid and/ or Fire Marshal qualifications would ideal, although not essential.
