I am currently working with an established financial services orginisation who are looking for a Project Accountant to assist the senior accountants on a project. This role is great for someone who is eager to gain exposure to financial accounting in a financial services group.
The ideal candidate would have experience:
* Facilitating all aspects of testing, documentation and providing input into the project.
* Performing reconciliations of the Segment's balance sheet accounts, ensuring excellent quality substantiation is used and issues are flagged and resolved in a timely manner. Managing the unreconciled differences and helping to resolve these in a timely manner.
* Reporting on the progress of actions and the project to the Finance project team.
* Leading and facilitating system and process improvements.
* Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group and third parties to ensure project deliverables are understood.
This is a 6-month FTC role. The suitable candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working within a busy finance office. It is also essential to have experience dealing with senior management / stakeholders across multiple departments. In return they offer a hybrid option and the opportunity to advance your skills.
