HR Officer
North Kent
£23,500 - £25,600 DOE
Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity for a HR Officer has arisen for my client based in North Kent. This position will be supporting the HR Manager ensuring the smooth running of the HR process and procedures. The ideal candidate will have previous within an HR Admin role and will be looking for the next step up in their career.
A Level 3 CIPD is highly desirable but my client is open to funding the qualification for the right person.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Supporting managers and staff with all areas of employment matters, delivering guidance and the right advice
* Building stable relationships with both internal and external parties
* Supporting all areas of the recruitment process including drafting job adverts, attending interviews, and documenting appointments
* Liaising with agencies to find temporary and permanent placements when required
* Ensuring accurate inductions for all new starters
* Supporting payroll with all pay enquiries and changes
* Confirming information with colleagues and stakeholders via email
* Preparing reports and updating accurate information onto the system
* Contributing to the development of the team by putting forward any new ideas or suggestions
* Any other duties or responsibilities that may be required
The successful candidate will have/be:
* CIPD Level 3 is desirable and would be a significant advantage
* Educated to A Level or equivalent
* Previous experience working within a similar role
* Able to prioritise important tasks and meet deadlines
* A good understanding of MS Office
* Able to embrace new ideas contributing to the success of the HR team
* Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
