New Job - PE Teacher

Based in a Medway grammar school and close to Gravesend, Maidstone and Dartford, this school are seeking a teacher of PE to cover a temporary post starting in January 2023. The job will run to April 2023 but likely until July 2023 on a full time contract basis.

You will work in a fun and supportive department delivering PE lessons at KS3 and KS4. You will need to have experience working in a secondary school or a similar setting with secondary age students. You will be engaging and enthusiastic about Sport and PE and be comfortable, managing challenging behaviour if it becomes necessary.

To succeed in this role you should be able to demonstrate:

* Experience of teaching or coaching secondary age students in PE
* Experience working with groups of students in an environment where health and safety is paramount
* An understanding of the PE curriculum at KS3 and GCSE
* An ability to engage, enthuse and challenge secondary age students whilst maintaining classroom discipline
