SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant in the Medway area to work 1:1 with a child with special educational needs on a long-term basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students of primary or secondary school age. You will ideally be a TA, LSA or Support Worker with SEND experience who will be responsible for providing support to children in a school environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing support for the child
* Monitoring and supervising activities both in and out of the classroom
* Assisting with maintaining a safe and positive environment
* Alerting staff for any emergencies that may arise
* Helping the class teacher where needed
