Senior Payments Specialist
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (Hybrid)
Mid Kent
Salary - DOE
A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Payments Specialist to join my client's team based in West Malling. You will be responsible for supporting the business and providing specialist knowledge regarding all payment queries. This is a brand new role and my client is keen to hear from those with strong, relevant payment experience!
Duties include:
* Supporting the bank, providing SME knowledge of banking payment schemes: Faster Payments, SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, MasterCard and FX Operations
* Updating payment policies and procedures to reflect regulatory and industry change
* Supporting the TAPS and Operational management team
* Be the point of contact for Sift related enquiries
* Ensuring all TAPS payment process guidelines are adhered to
* Implement payment knowledge into the team and support them where required
The successful candidate will have / be:
* Previous experience in a Banking / Financial Services environment
* Concrete knowledge of payment schemes, specifically Swift
* Able to advise team on the current rules and regulations for payment schemes
* An excellent communicator
* A team player
