HR Manager

Are you an experienced HR Manager with previous experience reviewing, developing, and driving company culture and talent?

As a standalone HR Manager, you will be delivering the full spectrum of HR activities to a business with approximately 75 employees across several sites. Ranging from administration right through to provision of commercial advice and strategic direction to the Senior Team\Board.

Duties include (not exhaustive):

* Actively undertaking all HR Administration including new starter documentation, compiling payroll information and managing benefits
* Looking at company culture and staff wellbeing and motivation across the business, in order to develop short- and long-term plans with the Board, to include reviewing flexible working arrangements.
* Maintain the newly implemented HR system (PeopleHR) and developing efficiencies and management information
* Providing a comprehensive HR service in line with the company strategy.
* Hands on involvement in all recruitment, actively planning the best approach to attract talent and bringing added value to the process through developing job specific assessment processes
* Taking an active lead in developing and refining existing policies, ensuring they are user friendly and align with Company culture.
* Provision of advice and support to the Senior Team as well as delivering presentations on strategic initiatives as and when required
* Managing employee relations, offering advice and guidance on a range of disciplinary and grievance issues.
* Ensure all policies and procedures are in line with current legislation and are communicated to employees
* To further develop our wellbeing programme for employees.
* Ensure all legal guidelines are adhered to throughout all documents and discussions.
* Offering and supporting with the entire employee lifecycle including on-boarding and exit process, as well as performance reviews and KPI setting.
* Oversee the ISO 9001 (ISO 9001:2015) and Investors in People processes to ensure the awards are maintained

To be considered for this role you will have:

* CIPD qualification at Level 5 or above.
* Proven HR Management experience with strong employment law knowledge.
* Experience of working in an SME
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with employees at all levels of the business.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong numerical skills and sound commercial awareness.
* Experience developing process efficiencies.
* Experience supporting employees across multiple locations.
* Confident using modern technologies.
* Experience working in a fast-paced working environment.
* Knowledge of ISO and Investors in People.
