Freight Logistics Coordinator
£23K - £25K DOE
Medway
Hybrid - 3 days in the office - 8-5pm
Monday to Friday - Permanent
A fantastic opportunity has landed for a Logistics Administrator to join a successful and established company based in Medway, on a full time and permanent basis.
You will be dealing with national and international goods in and out, planning the transport, liaising with transport companies, and handling all shipping paperwork.
Duties include:
* Processing customer orders.
* Managing goods in and goods out transport bookings.
* Working effectively with local and global logistics partners.
* Generating shipping documentation and maintaining accurate audit records.
* Meeting all compliance requirements throughout the logistics process, including HMRC and customs.
* Effectively communicating with departments, shareholders, and customers.
* General administrative duties and support
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in a similar role, involving national and international transport planning, customs processes, and container shipments - IDEAL
* Fantastic administration skills, including Excel.
* Confident with new IT systems.
* Excellent attention to detail whilst multi-tasking and managing deadlines.
* Strong work ethic and team ethos
* Good interpersonal skills, including a great telephone manner.
This is a great role for an individual with some experience of international shipping logistics who would like to join a buzzy, vibrant team in a company who like to look after their staff.
