Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £43,775 per annum

4 on, 4 off days and nights
Day shift - 6am to 6pm (1.5hr break)
Night shift - 6pm to 6am (1.5hr beak)

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Medway based client on a permanent basis

This is an exceptional opportunity for a suitably experienced, self-motivated and analytical Engineer to utilise maintenance and repair skills within a varied and challenging, professional production environment.

This role involves the following areas of responsibility:

* Performing the effective diagnosis, maintenance and repair on a range of industrial electronic equipment
* Responsible for the dismantling, checking and testing of components
* Attend breakdowns and keep machinery down-time to a minimum
* Working with CMMS systems, work orders and spares etc.
* Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe working condition
* Providing support to other engineering teams as required

The right person will be/have:

* Dynamic, proactive and self-motivated
* Possess relevant engineering qualification or able to demonstrate direct relevant industry sector
* Ideally have gained experience working within a similar production environment.
* Have excellent communication skills
* Strong knowledge of bearings, pneumatics and electrical control systems
* Computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft office
