Pearson Whiffin Education are looking to recruit a passionate and empathetic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work is this wonderful primary school in Maidstone. The successful candidate will support a key stage 2 student with special educational needs.

If you have previous experience working with SEN children and are looking for rewarding role in a great school, we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;

* Support the class teacher with lessons and learning activities
* Contribute to the management of behaviour
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis
* Ensure health and standards are followed at all times

Requirements for this role are as follows;

* Experience of working as a teaching assistant in a UK school
* Holding a teaching assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
* Live within easy access of the Maidstone area
* Good, strong group or 1:1 skills
* Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to acquire this)
