Equality Diversity and Inclusion Representative - 12 month FTC



Up to £30,000 DOE



Location: Mid Kent with option of hybrid working



Full time position - core working days are Monday to Friday (flexibility required)



You will be required to work on evenings occasionally and on a very rare occasion, on the weekend - this time will be given back in lieu.



We are currently recruiting for an Equality Diversity and Inclusion Representative to join my client's team who are based in Mid Kent. You will be joining a forward-thinking, dynamic organisation and jumping into a brand new varied role on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.



Due to the nature of this role, you must have a full, clean driving license to be considered.



Duties include:

* Attending events and comfortably promoting EDI to internal and external customers
* Supporting the Inclusion Manager to deliver the EDI plan
* Raising awareness of EDI within the company
* Monitor and support forums and focus groups surrounding EDI
* Analysing information; identifying patterns and trends within the business and suggesting what can be done to improve

The successful candidate will have / be:

* A solid understanding of EDI and able to comfortably promote EDI to others
* A good understanding Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duty
* Strong communication skills both written and verbally
* A forward thinker; able to generate new ideas
* Able to build and maintain relationships
* Competent using MS Office
* A full, clean driving license - pool car provided
