HOURS: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

The company: A large manufacturing organisation that has shown continued growth year on year.

Overview of the role: The Head of Marketing has overall responsibility and accountability for the Marketing function, which will include developing plans to establish our brand, allocating resources to different projects, and setting short-term and long-term departmental goals. Ultimately, you will run the department in ways that will promote higher profitability and competitiveness.

The responsibilities and main duties for this position include:

* Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
* To lead/oversee all marketing activities from social medial and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects, in line with commercial targets.
* To proactively engage with Key Accounts to deliver new, innovative marketing support and establish enhanced business relationships, including visiting Key Accounts where necessary and identifying and formulating marketing strategies.
* To strategically plan new product launches as and when they arise.
* To engage with IT to develop a more effective CRM system for the external sales team.
* To plan the marketing department budget and present to the Board for its agreement or variation. To have responsibility for all pricing for POS/Exhibitions/Promotions/Literature.
* To strategically develop new avenues for online promotion to promote our profile.
* To critically analyse consumer behaviour and relevant data to establish best routes to market and tailor campaigns to suit.
* To identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
* Monitor competition (acquisition, pricing changes and new products and features).
* Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness.
* To have responsibility for the company's social media and on-line presence.
* To report monthly/quarterly to the Board as requested on company and department performance

What were looking for:

* Work experience as Head of Marketing, or Senior Marketing Manager role
* Experience running successful marketing campaigns
* Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
* Experience with CRM software
* Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
