A very successful company based in the Rochester/Strood area is looking to recruit Counterbalance Forklift Drivers/Production Operatives initially on a temporary basis. There may be opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidates after a qualifying period.
There are also opportunities for applicants without a Forklift license to be trained on site.
Your main duties will include driving a B1 Counterbalance Forklift to load pallets and move finished products. You will also operate plant machinery, monitoring the production process and carrying out regular quality control checks.
There are day and night shifts available, working Monday-Friday either:
* 06:00-18:00 paying £11 per hour Monday-Thursday and £16.50 per hour Friday (applicable after 48 hours)
OR
* 18:00-06:00 paying £12 per hour Monday-Friday and £18 per hour Friday (applicable after 48 hours)
Overtime is applicable after 48 hours at time and a half, and this forms part of your regular shift pattern.
