Secondary School DT Technician

This Ashford based secondary school are looking for an experienced Design and Technology Technician to support teachers with both the preparation and delivery of lessons. The successful candidate will provide additional supervision in lessons when specialist equipment is required and assist the department with maintaining teaching resources.

Candidates with experience with CAD, CAM, metalwork and woodworking machinery would be preferred. Working as a DT technician for this secondary school in Ashford you will be expected to closely with other departments. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and be open to flexible working.

Desirable candidates will have the following;

* Experience working with a range of Design and Technology materials and equipment
* Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
* Experience working in a school or educational setting
* Knowledge of metal and woodworking

To be considered for this role you will need;

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to acquire one)
* Able to travel to Ashford
* Available to start in July
