Job Title: Internal Account Manager

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Location: Maidstone

Our client, an established manufacturing company based in Maidstone, has an opportunity for an Internal Account Manager to work in partnership with their External Account Managers developing their sales portfolio across a specified geographical area.

Duties include:

* Acting as a first point of contact to client, building strong relationships using a consultative sales approach to understand and maximise the potential of every client and every project.
* Providing technical assistance and accurate quotations, with appropriate and timely follow up and documentation on internal systems.
* Professionally handling complaints and queries to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
* Working alongside external representatives and project engineers to ensure that client requirements are fully understood and the best value solution for each project is engineered.
* Appointment planning for external sales teams in response to lead identification or issue resolution.
* Supporting in the ongoing review and development of the pricing process, setting margins and discounts collaboratively with the external sales representatives.

The successful candidate will have:

* Previous experience in an internal sales/ customer service role.
* Experience and confidence working with IT systems including CRM databases, ensuring timely and accurate information entry.
* Great verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong abilities to multitask and prioritise to meet tight deadlines in a changing environment.
* The desire to exceed targets and KPIs.
* A quick mind to manage complaints and problem solve, learning the product range in order to provide technical solutions.
