We are currently looking for a Financial Administrator for our client based in Dover
Purpose of role
The main purpose of the role is supporting all aspects of financial planning including investments, pensions, mortgages & protection and tax & estate planning.
Key responsibilities
* Dealing with telephone / email enquiries to the office. Providing a point of contact for clients and handling any queries effectively, but not giving advice.
* Update and maintain the firm's records / registers
* Manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications.
* Onboarding of new clients including anti-money laundering checks in line with regulatory requirements.
* Issuing our initial disclosure documents and producing client review packs.
* Liaising with product providers, mortgage lenders & estate agents.
* Prepare and submit client applications.
* Prepare for meetings, meeting notes, follow up
* Discuss cases with the advisors and provide regular updates on the progress of applications and ongoing support.
* Technical research
* Cash flow planning tasks, experience of this with any software preferred.
Experience required
* You need to be motivated, friendly and professional at all times
* Experience in a Financial advice environment, Paraplanner/report writing
* Diploma qualified is preferable but consideration will be made if you are working towards achieving this
* The role requires a reliable individual who has the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Ability to produce business correspondence, proof read for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities are essential
* Confident with IT and office software packages Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Salary between £21k-£30k depending on experience
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Full study support towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning will be offered to the right candidate, and with experience the successful candidate will gain responsibility for more technical paraplanning cases.
