HR Assistant (6-month Temporary Role) - Education Sector - Hybrid Role

Your new company

Our client is a growing organisation within the Education Sector who are keen to bring on an additional person due to the increase in workload.

Your new role

You will be working in a flexible team where you will be required to provide responsive HR administrative support relating to all day-to-day aspects of the employment of staff, in order to deliver a high-quality support service to both internal and external clients.

Your duties will include:

* Managing administration activities across the full HR remit
* Ensuring that the recruitment inbox is managed daily through responding to speculative applications, agencies, and general queries
* Liaising with agencies and ensuring that all jobs are advertised in a timely manner
* Scheduling interviews for suitable candidates and going through a vetting process
* Recording all information on the HR system accurately including changes in contracts
* Providing an excellent customer service to the organisation and its stakeholders
* Meeting preparation and minute taking for employee relations cases
* Keeping a high standard of professionalism at all times, demonstrating integrity and confidentiality
* Undertaking the full on-boarding process for new starters (preparing contracts, sending out paperwork, creating personnel files and inductions)

What you'll need to succeed

An understanding of and commitment to all aspects of equality and diversity is essential for you to be considered for this role. Additionally, recruitment is a key aspect within this role.

Knowledge of the recruitment cycle including posting job adverts, screening CV's, carrying out interviews and an initial induction are all essential.

An awareness of current employment legislation and the impact on the HR service will allow you to successfully transition into this role.

Associate CIPD Membership is desirable but not essential.

What you'll get in return

Salary range is between £18,000 - £23,800.

Hybrid working pattern offered.

Full-time position within a fast-paced, challenging environment where you will gain exposure to the HR position.
