Global Procurement Manager, £65,000 - £70,000, Staines

Your new company
A global leader in technology and security services, based in West London, is looking to hire a new Global Procurement Manager. Currently, this company is undergoing an exciting period of transformation and, as the new Procurement Manager, you will set up a global procurement team and build up the function from scratch. Working out of smart offices, based in the company head office, you will report into the Global Procurement Director and manage a team to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, and improve the companies services.

Your new role
As the Global Procurement Manager, you will:
* Deal with different categories of IT and communications spend and related suppliers to attain value for the company, the clients and supply chain
* Deal with different categories of spend and suppliers assigned as 'global/group' to achieve value for the business globally as well as its clients and supply chain
* Take on global strategic tendering exercises in 17 countries that provide lower cost in terms of total cost of ownership (TCO)
* Work with the supply base to keep on improving for the supplier and the company
* Create and maintain strong relationships making sure we are customer of choice
* Conduct global teams in strategic sourcing exercises in, making sure key stake holders are inclusive of the decisions making process from analysis to mobilisation of contract
* Make use of key stakeholders and ensure operational and client needs are met

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, here, as a Global Procurement Manager, you must be:

* Experienced in global or multi-regional procurement (managing direct and indirect categories of spend)
* A strong negotiator who has the drive to achieve commercial value
* Self-motivated and constantly looking at ways to add value to the business
* A strong communicator whilst having the capability to influence stakeholders
* Experienced working with both internal and external stakeholders, computer literate, and have the relevant skills with working with MS Excel
* ability to present to the company gaining buy-in on initiatives
* You need to have a full driving license and be able to travel internationally if needed
