A great opportunity has arisen within a very successful Food Production company in Paddock Wood. We are looking to recruit a Machine Operator to work alongside our small, friendly team.

This is a permanent position for the right candidate.

The hours of work are From 08:00am to 7.00pm (or until production ends), Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

General cleanliness and tidiness of the production area, equipment and appliances.
Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and equipment.
Report on the supply and quality of items used to carry out daily tasks.
Receiving, checking and safely storing production deliveries.
Preparation of food including raw meat, some vegetables.
Understand the principles of safe food handling, to ensure all food preparations undertaken in production is to the highest standards.
Ensure the safety, legality and quality of our products, while ensuring CCP’s are adhered to.
Some manual handling.
The successful applicant will need to have the following skills/knowledge/experience:

· Experience of working within the food sector

· Experience/willing to learn machine operations

· Willingness to take a certificate in basic food hygiene

· The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Good team working skills
