The Job:

The purpose of this role is to produce high quality design and work creatively with existing visual style guide for various innovative projects at the Trust. This includes high-visibility print, digital marketing campaigns and digital social content. There should be a willingness to take creative risks but also to follow and interpret creative direction from departments. This post will ensure that the Trust’s brand and visual guidelines are consistently always applied and adhered to both internally and externally. The graphic designer will manage their day-to-day priorities through an account management system acting as an in-house design studio and treating colleagues as internal clients. The graphic designer will form part of a small communications and marketing team and would be expected to collaborate with team members on generating ideas and executing project campaigns.

You:

You are a highly motivated individual with 3+ years of experience working as a graphic designer.
You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, strong visual design and type skills and experience working across a variety of digital projects.
You have experience running design projects as a sole designer, from ideation and research through to presenting mock-ups and producing final assets.
You have experience working cross-functionally.
You can work reactively and at speed in a quick turnaround environment.
You enjoy solving problems and can do so without direct supervision.
You’re comfortable delivering design autonomously and also discovering a solution in collaboration with others.
You’re able to communicate and present ideas clearly in writing and face-to-face.
You have a passion for graphic design, comms design and visual identity.
You are positive and committed with a 'can-do' attitude and a flexible approach to complex problems.
You have excellent time management, and you know how to manage multiple priorities
You are passionate about conservation and our values.
