Our Client is a highly respected and well known golf club on the outskirts of Maidstone. They are looking for a reliable and passionate Head Chef that takes pride in their work and is passionate about food to come and join their team. The Golf club has recently undergone renovations establishing their mark on the events market.

As the Head Chef you will be left to manage the Kitchen how you see fit. you will be communicating heavily with the General Manager ensuring that the day to day service runs as smoothly as possible. You will also be responsible for managing portion control, waste management, managing rotas, be in charge of ordering and managing the kitchen team. They are looking for someone that can really take the position and run with it, working on menu and kitchen development.

The working hours for this role will vary and will include evenings and weekends so you must be flexible in working various hours.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking for a new challenge for the new year. This position will suit someone who has previous experience working within a hotel, restaurant or golf club at a senior level.



The ideal candidate

- Have previous experience as a Head Chef/Sous Chef in a busy kitchen enviorment

- Proven management skills within their last role

- Ambitious and Passionate about cooking

- Have good people and communication skills

- Be a team player and willing to help team members out when needed

- Be able to coach and teach less senior staff and new starters.
