I am currently looking for a Helpdesk Technician for my Managed Print Services Client based in Maidstone!
Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
The Helpdesk Technician role is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and dynamic help desk environment, with a focus on customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Using remote access software to assist our customers in resolving print, scan, fax and network related issues
Providing assistance to field engineers for IT support
Problem Diagnosis and fault resolution
Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying of impending changes or agreed outages
Ensuring devices are installed on Apogee’s Remote Management Application and reporting, where necessary, investigate connection issues and concerns, both internally and directly with our clients.
Escalate service requests that cannot be scheduled within agreed service levels
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
Fast turnaround of customer requests
Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
Skills Required
Experience in Customer service
Have an understanding of basic network terminology e.g. Router, I.P addressing, Basic DNS
Basic understanding of key protocols, e.g. SMTP,SNMP,DNS,IPV4,Bonjour,SMB
Analytical/Logical thinking
Ability to Troubleshoot PC/Printer/Network related faults (Experience)
Experience in 7using remote access tools (TV, GoToAssist, VPN’s)
Client Centric ticket management experience
Initiative to read and follow manuals
Any printer knowledge is highly desired!
