Insurance - Claims Handler

My client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join the team as a Claims Handler. You will play a crucial role in accurately processing and managing insurance claims as well as business support.
Day-to-day activity:
- Review and analyse insurance claims for accuracy and completeness
- Verify policy information and coverage details
- Enter claim information into the system accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with policyholders, providers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to claims
- Maintain accurate records of all claims processed
- Follow company guidelines and procedures for claims processing
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate claims processing
Skills required:
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with data entry and using relevant software applications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures is a plus
