We currently have a vacancy for a Receptionist working 30 hours per week. (this could be achieved through a job share) with the potential to develop into a lead receptionist role.

• Monday 13:30 – 18:00
• Tuesday 13:00 – 18:00
• Wednesday 08:30 – 12:30
• Thursday 08:30 – 12:00 13:00 – 18:00
• Friday 09:00 – 12:00 13:00 – 18:00

This is an opportunity to join a multi-skilled reception team working in a fast paced friendly environment, ensuring our patients are directed to the most appropriate professional for their needs.

As a valued team member you will actively support the Doctors and the Practice by answering the ‘phone, dealing with patient queries and booking patient appointments. In addition to the normal Reception duties you will also provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Practice.

This role requires a well presented individual with a calm, methodical approach to work, the ability to deal empathically and professionally with the general public and a working knowledge of EMIS Web would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.

The successful applicant will be receptive to change, with excellent communication skills and have a ‘can-do approach’ to work.

This role will be subject to DBS vetting.
