If your answers are “yes” to each, please read on as an exciting opportunity has arisen within our HR Resourcing Team on a full time, 6 month fixed term basis.
The University is embarking on an 'Organising for Success' project by changing how we are currently structured. The Executive Group has agreed a set of proposals, which they believe, will ensure we become stronger in our research and education, less bureaucratic and more cost-effective.
In the context of this significant change at the University, the Resourcing Co-ordinator will work closely with the Resourcing team to support the recruitment of senior roles in the organisation. We strive to provide a positive candidate and hiring manager experience whilst at the same time ensuring that relevant policies, procedures and legislation is adhered to. This enables the University to attract the excellent staff it needs from both home and overseas.
As Resourcing Co-ordinator you will:
- provide a high level of professionalism and administrative support to the Resourcing team
- act as a liaison between the University and Executive Search agencies working on senior recruitment campaigns
- show proactivity and adaptability, using initiative to ensure the selection process is managed to the highest of standards
- keep track of all recruitment timelines with the regular use of Excel, reporting on progress/identifying areas that need attention
To be successful in this role you will:
- have experience of working in a busy administrative role
- possess excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office Excel
- the ability to work calmly and efficiently whilst coping with a variety of demands at short notice
- an adaptable and flexible approach
