Eurotunnel manages, maintains and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France. Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third party passenger and railfreight trains. The advantages of the Channel Tunnel are security, reliability, speed, frequency and respect for the environment.

Eurotunnel is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its Train Crew Department based at our terminal in Folkestone. You will have a range of responsibilities including driving Eurotunnel trains between our terminals in Folkestone and Calais. You will also supervise commercial operations on board our shuttles for the safety of our passengers and their vehicles. This is a shift working position so you must be prepared to work unsocial hours.

To be eligible to apply candidates must be 20 years of age and over at the time of taking up appointment (June 2019) and have the right to work in the UK and France. A valid UK driving licence is essential. This position will interest you if you are passionate about working in a team committed to offering a high quality of service for our customers.

Earnings after the initial six months training will be in the region of £30,708 per annum rising progressively to £38,963 following 4-5 years in post. Figures are inclusive of shift allowance.
