We are a busy, 7 Partner General Practice in Maidstone. We are looking for a confident, professional and proactive Receptionist / Administrator to join our team to assist with the efficient and smooth running of the office.
Effective communication and organisational skills are a must, as is a can do attitude and a calm and measured approach.
Excellent people skills are required to meet the needs of this demanding role and, as part of a busy team, you will need to be supportive and flexible. You should have strong IT skills and be keen to develop new skills. Previous medical experience is not mandatory however experience working in a challenging customer / client service environment is desirable.
The role will include among other duties:
• Reception duties, telephone answering and dealing with patient queries
• Document management
• Assisting clinical staff to support patients and to achieve goals
We are a training practice and as such we encourage a proactive and positive approach to development. IT training will be given as well as training on the various policies and procedures within the practice.
