Senior Premium Technician to £40,000 - City

Lloyds Broker based in the City is seeking to recruit a Senior Technician to take sole responsibility to process North American and UK Casualty risks.

Key Duties:
Premium Processing:
·Use of Xchanging's Daily Accounting Report to monitor signings and inform Account Executives
·At Allocation insure information is fully/correctly shown in MRC
·Check Pans/Closings show correct premium and insurer information
·Credit control - monitor and manage payments on a daily basis
·Liaise with the Account Executives and Accounts Department to ensure prompt receipt and onward payment within any premium payment terms set by Insurers;
·Arrange for premium payment terms to be updated when premium overdue;
·Submit Premiums/Additional Premiums/Return Premiums and Binding authority premium bordereaux to XIS via the IMR for signing;
·Requesting of Return Premiums from Company Markets
·Submit Closings to the Accounts Department for wire transfer;
·Promptly respond to queries when raised by Underwriters
·Resolving any stage 1 queries raised by bureaux
·Responsibility for Lineslip Renewals and setting up of FDO markets
·Updating of In-House Risk Tracking System
·Running Premium Received/ Sent and Premium Payment Reports

Key knowledge / experience
·Good understanding of the Lloyd's/XIS market and IMR procedures is essential;
·Experience in the North American Liability Market with focus on Lawyers Professional Liability, Architects and Engineers Professional Liability and Directors and Officers Liability would be a distinct advantage;
