Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working with a leading mid Kent based Marine Insurance Broker who are looking for a new recruit to join their new business team at a time of expansion.
The candidate will have experience of Dealing with a variety of Marine Insurance Covers such as P&I, H&M, Charterers Liability, War, Builders Risks. The person will be involved in growing the book of business.
Main Duties:
Developing new Marine business either through existing contacts or by establishing new relationships with direct clients or producing brokers
Searching new business opportunities and following these up either over the phone, by email or by visiting. Travel will be required in the UK and possibly abroad
Attending relevant trade shows
Developing & maintaining prospect database.
Advising on products & services and highlighting the benefit they can bring.
Building relationships with insurers and placing brokers and looking at potential new markets for growth opportunities
Dealing with preparation of submissions to Underwriters of cover to clients
Checking of incoming and outgoing Insurance documents and general correspondence
Assisting with existing business where required
