About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Tier 1 Contractor delivering a high-value, complex project with an overall scheme value exceeding £20m. The successful candidate will take a leading role in driving the mechanical package through to completion, with the project scheduled to finish around August / September.You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical supervisors and managing multiple subcontractors, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards. This role requires someone confident in leading teams, coordinating with wider project stakeholders, and maintaining strong commercial and technical oversight.
Key Responsibilities

* Lead the mechanical delivery on a major construction project
* Manage mechanical supervisors and subcontractor teams
* Oversee progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications
* Coordinate with project leadership, design teams, and commercial teams
* Ensure health & safety standards are upheld across all mechanical activities
* Drive the project through to successful completion within the agreed timeframe

Requirements

* Proven experience managing mechanical packages on large-scale projects (£20m+)
* Background working with Tier 1 Contractors is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme performance
* CSCS Black Card essential

Contract Details

* Freelance position
* £450 per day via Umbrella paye
* 7-8-month contract
* Immediate start available
