Multi Trader - Kent

£18.00 - £22.00 per hour * Temporary * Mobile Role

About the Role

Hays Construction & Property is working in partnership with a leading national Facilities Management company to recruit an experienced Multi Trader for work across the Kent region.

Following new contract wins and increased maintenance demand, the team is expanding. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Multi Trader looking for consistent, varied work across commercial and domestic properties.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Mobile Multi Trader, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks, including:

* Reactive repairs across commercial and domestic sites
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
* Carpentry, plumbing, basic plastering, painting and minor building fabric repairs
* Fault‑finding and resolving general maintenance issues
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to high standards
* Providing excellent customer service while on site

You will travel between multiple properties, working independently and representing the business professionally.

What We're Looking For
You should be:

* Reliable, motivated and customer‑focused
* Confident working alone across different site types
* Skilled in a minimum of two core trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering or basic electrical work
* Able to problem‑solve and complete a variety of maintenance tasks to a high standard

Essential Requirements

* Strong proven background as a Multi Trader or Building Maintenance Operative
* Experience within commercial and/or domestic properties
* NVQ Level 2/3 in a primary trade (preferred but not essential if time‑served)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to work across the Kent region in a mobile capacity
