Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for a permanent Yard Operative to join our prestigious client based in the Erith area.
As a Yard Operative you will ensure the office and yards are maintained including all fire extinguishers (office, yard and trucks) as well as being a key holder and emergency contact.
Responsibilities:
* Closing of depot, yard and office.
* Key holder and emergency contact.
* External Painting.
* Ensuring the yard is clean, tidy and free of weeds.
* Emptying of bunds around tanks and vapour recovery, cleaning of tank filters and storage tanks.
* General maintenance within the office, yard and outbuildings, including tanks, loading arms and printer unit.
* Cover for warehouse.
* Apollo fitting.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role with practical skills (at least one years experience).
* Manual driving licence, (must be comfortable driving a transit van).
* Organised and have attention to detail.
* Forklift Licence or knowledge.
* Ability to work on own or as a team.
* Able to organise daily work.
* Basic DIY skills.
* Have a can do attitude.
* Able to converse with management, staff and drivers.
The shift hours are:
* Monday to Friday
* 9AM - 5PM
* 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
