Project Manager – Join the Rap Interiors Team

The Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion. This is a role where no two days are the same, and your leadership will be key to ensuring every detail runs smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Full project ownership – managing subcontractor procurement, scheduling, budgets, and cost control.
• On-site leadership – coordinating site operations across multiple projects, ensuring quality and safety at all times.
• Client & team collaboration – acting as the main point of contact for clients, while working closely with our surveyors, estimators, and designers.
• Flexibility – the role will require some early morning travel to project sites, depending on location with the occasional weekend work????
About You
We’re looking for a confident and proactive individual within 20 miles of Maidstone who thrives on responsibility and delivering results. You’ll bring:
• Strong communication skills – the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues. Communication is key to the success of our projects.
• Organisation & attention to detail – excellent time management, paperwork handling, cost control, and the ability to resolve on-site build queries.
• Industry knowledge – proven experience in fit out and refurbishment projects, with competent understanding of the construction industry. Solid Microsoft Office skills needed.
• Commitment to quality – ensuring high standards of work, maintaining project programme, efficient snag resolution, and project delivery on time.
• Bonus experience – knowledge of JCT and Design & Build contracts but not essential. We are committed to personal development and will provide training.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following certifications will give you a head start:
• Asbestos Awareness
• CSCS
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• PASMA
• IOSH
• First Aid
• Manual Handling
