Job Title: Machine Operative
Location: East Peckham, Tonbridge
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week:
Choice of the below shifts:
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Job Type: Ongoing work leading to a full-time position.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking Production Operatives to join a well-established plastic injection moulding company based in East Peckham, Tonbridge.
Please be aware that this role is mainly static, and attention to detail is the top priority. Candidates seeking a fast-paced active role will not suit this opportunity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing, full-time work in a friendly and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and minding production machines
- Performing hourly quality checks
- Ensuring products meet company standards
- Keeping the work area clean and organized
- Reporting any issues or defects to the supervisor
- Packing, sealing & labelling boxes, preparing them for distribution
What We’re Looking For:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to be stationary for long periods of time
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Previous production or factory experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided
- Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site
