A great opportunity has arisen for an Entry Level CAD Technician to join a leading design, manufacturing and installation company based in Medway Towns on a permanent basis.
You will be working 08.45-17.00 Monday-Thursday and 09.00-16.00 Friday.
The main purpose of the role is to produce 2D AutoCAD drawings of ventilation systems for customer approval.
Your main duties will include:
* Interpretation of customer ductwork and equipment drawings.
* Calculating required airflows and design systems.
* Working in accordance with company quality procedures
* Contribute to continuous improvement
* Attending team meetings and contributing to the team development topic
* Communicating with customers and consultants to confirm information and requirements.
* Liaising with project managers, revising drawings as required.
The successful candidate will have energy, passion and a proven track record of high performance
and must share our Company values. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a
clear focus on high quality and attention to detail.
Experience/Qualifications
* A technical design background and experience with sheet metal and ductwork systems.
* Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor & Vault OR similar design platforms following the same design practices
* A background and knowledge of commercial ventilation desirable
* Revit(3D Modelling)experience desirable
