This Canterbury-based practice is seeking a talented Architect/ Architectural Technologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will work on a series of small to medium scale residential and commercial projects, where the successful candidate will be expected to run between 2-5 projects at any one time, varying in scale from £200k - £2m.
You will be working closely with other experienced architects while developing your skills, producing high-quality design solutions that meet the ambitious standards of the practice. This role is ideal for a motivated and creative individual looking to gain hands - on experience.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with senior architects and designers on a variety of projects
* Assist in developing architectural plans and designs
* Utilise software tools such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
* Participate in project meetings and provide creative input
* Conduct research on material and building techniques
* Assist in the preparation of presentations for clients and submit planning applications

What you'll need to succeed

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
* Strong understanding of architectural principles and design concepts
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to also work on their own
* Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
