Workshop Technicians

We are currently recruiting for a number of Workshop Technicians for a client looking to expand their team. The positions have become available as a result of a significant increase in workflow due to main dealer costs and lead times particularly on Land Rover and Jaguar bookings.

Working within a local independent prestige workshop, specialising in the service and repair of vehicles as per main dealer recommendations/schedules
The business offers the same first class level of service as a main dealer, but at an affordable price
All work is guaranteed to maintain manufacturer warranties

Financials/Package:
8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday only – NO WEEKENDS!!
Monthly bonus on turnover target achievement
Bosch Car Service Garage (BCS) : training via BCS
Salary depending on experience but as a guide £28K - £40K

Location:
Ideal location for easy access (Folkestone 15 minutes), Dover (10 minutes) Canterbury (10 minutes).

Duties will include:
Carry our service and repairs to a high standard with effective use of time and using up to date diagnostic equipment
Work must be completed to the highest level of quality and productivity
Good knowledge of diagnostic equipment and ability to communicate effectively within the team
Good approach to diagnosis, interpret technical information and carry out repairs professionally
Accurately report works, parts required to effect repairs, accurate reporting on work completed and work required
Flexible attitude to your daily work and responsibilities is a must
Personal improvement and training are a big part to ensure an exceptional service is delivered
Tyres/4 wheel alignment

Experience/Qualifications:
NVQ level 3 with a minimum of 3 years experience
Full clean driving licence
MOT tester (an advantage)
VW or Land Rover experience (an advantage)
Self motivated and a team player
High energy and the ability to work under pressure
