Jayar Components Ltd was established in 1976, and are the leading independent supplier of quality car parts, workshop consumables and garage tools & equipment in the South East of England.

We are currently looking for an experienced and strategic individual to join our team in the role of IT Manager to work from our Head Office in Aylesford, Kent. The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of IT systems and be able to demonstrate proven work experience in the field.

Main duties will include -

● Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s IT infrastructure and overseeing the various company platforms.
● Developing and implementing IT strategies and plans that are aligned with business objectives.
● Provide hands on technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software and network related issues.
● Implementing and maintaining robust security measures including firewall management and adhere to Cyber Essentials standards, ensuring data security and compliance.
● Planning and execution of upgrades.



Skills Required -

• Proven work experience within an IT based role.
• A bachelor’s degree or similar in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and security.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
• The ability to analyse complex problems and implement effective solutions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
• Excellent planning skills with the ability to respond effectively to multiple priorities.

This is a full-time role Monday – Friday 8am – 5.30pm.
