Dispatch Operative required on the outskirts of Maidstone on a temporary to permanent basis.
You will join an established team and be responsible for allocating materials and stock.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the inbound process of stock.
* Ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
* Assist with stock taking ensuring accuracy of the records.
* Issue stock internally, maintaining storage disciplines, systems, and records.
* Pack goods ready for shipment
* Check each item for visual defects when packing and report any issues.
* Follow all packing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Work with the Dispatch Department to confirm completion of the orders.
* Maintain packing material supplies.
About you:
* At least 12 months of relevant experience that can be transferred to this role.
* Good IT skills
* Organised
* Able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to Detail
* Team Player
* This can be a physically demanding role with lifting required.
This role is Monday to Friday 8-5 and pays £11.44ph. Our client invests in their staff with opportunities for further training.
