We are recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an Engineering Company on a permanent night shift basis. You will have used small hand tools and be happy working in an industrialised environment.
Your main duties will include:
* Processing of parts as instructed
* Filing of castings/moulded parts using hand grinding tools
* Shot blasting
* Manual Handling
* Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
* Completing the relevant job cards
You will be working 46 hours per week when on permanent nights.
* 18.00-06.00 Monday-Thursday
The hourly pay rate is £11.59 per hour on days and £13.33 on nights plus overtime at an enhanced rate.
Initially you will start work on days for training purposes, 06.00-18.00, Monday-Thursday
Ideally have previous factory/ manufacturing experience, however full training will be provided.
The company also offers free parking and there are opportunities for career advancement.
